Please join us at the Buena Vista Library TONIGHT at 7:00 p.m. for a bravura performance of readers' theater by our Burbank teens!
They will be presenting humorous selections from the writings of Anton Chekhov, including The Brute, The Chameleon, and A Marriage Proposal.

Readers' theater, for those who don't know the term, is a "staged reading" of the material, which means that the participants read aloud from their scripts rather than memorizing lines, and there is minimal movement and few props. But don't be fooled--readers' theater is lively and dynamic, and is read with all the expression and passion intended by the author!

This is the fifth readers' theater production put on by our young adult services department and starring "our" teens, and if you haven't seen one yet, you don't know what you have missed--don't miss this one!

This is a teen program, but all are welcome to attend! (And it's FREE, there's plenty of parking, and there will be refreshments at intermission…)
