The Northwest Branch of the Burbank Public Library is now CLOSED for a mandatory seismic retrofit (that means making it earthquake-safe). The building will also receive a number of improvements to make it ADA-compliant (that means it will be up to code for the Americans with Disabilities Act). The project is expected to be completed by Spring 2013. (They have to take off the roof, among other things!) So from now until spring, plan to do your homework research and your book-browsing at either the Central Library or the Buena Vista Branch!
